Privacy Policy

ProofPack ("we", "us", or "our") operates getproofpack.com. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. We keep this simple because we believe you deserve to know exactly what's going on.

What we collect

• Account information — your email address, name, and username when you sign up.
• Profile information — any optional details you add: job title, agency name, bio, social links, profile photo, and brand logo.
• Report content — the notes you paste in and the AI-generated reports we save on your behalf.
• Billing information — if you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status — never your card number.
• Usage data — basic logs (pages visited, features used, errors). We use this to fix bugs and improve the product.
• Client email addresses — emails you type when sending reports to clients, stored so we can autocomplete them for you later.

How we use it

• To provide and operate the ProofPack service.
• To generate AI reports using your input via the OpenAI API.
• To send reports to your clients via email (Resend).
• To send you transactional emails: password resets, billing receipts.
• To enforce plan limits and process subscriptions via Stripe.
• To improve the product based on how it's used.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your report content to train AI models. We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate ProofPack:

• Supabase — database, file storage, and authentication. Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure.
• OpenAI — powers the AI report generation. Your notes are sent to OpenAI to generate reports. OpenAI's privacy policy applies to data processed by their API.
• Stripe — handles all payment processing. We never see or store your card details.
• Resend — sends transactional emails on our behalf.
• Vercel — hosts the application. Basic request logs may be retained by Vercel.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal information and reports within 30 days, except where we're required to retain records for legal or billing purposes.

Your rights

You can, at any time:

• Edit or delete your profile information from the settings page.
• Delete individual reports from your dashboard.
• Cancel your subscription from the billing page.
• Request a full export or deletion of your data by emailing getproofpack@gmail.com.

Cookies

We use cookies only for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Children

ProofPack is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you by email. Continued use of ProofPack after changes means you accept the updated policy.
